What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. Written in plain English.
Use our service responsibly. Pay for what you use. Don't do anything illegal. We'll do our best to keep the service running and your data safe. If either of us wants to part ways, we can do so at any time.
Reduce Cloud Costs is a platform that helps you:
When you create an account:
You give us read-only access to your cloud accounts so we can fetch resource and cost data. We recommend using the minimum permissions necessary. You can revoke access at any time by removing the credentials from our platform or from your cloud provider. We never modify your cloud resources without your explicit permission (such as when you enable resource scheduling).
For paid plans:
Don't use our service to:
We work hard to keep the service running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Sometimes we need to do maintenance, and occasionally things break. We'll do our best to notify you of planned downtime and fix issues quickly. We're not liable for any losses caused by service interruptions.
We pull data from your cloud providers and do our best to present it accurately. However, cloud billing is complex and sometimes there are delays or discrepancies. Our cost data should be used as a guide, not as your official billing record. Always verify important financial decisions with your cloud provider's official billing statements.
You can cancel your account at any time:
We can also terminate your account if you violate these terms, but we'll try to warn you first unless the violation is severe.
We own the Reduce platform, its code, design, and branding. You own your data. You give us permission to use your data only to provide the service to you. We won't use your data for anything else without your permission.
We provide this service "as is." While we do our best, we can't guarantee it will always work perfectly or meet every need. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months. We're not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or decisions you make based on our data.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree with the new terms, you can cancel your account before they take effect.
